Hospitalist Physician

Location: California
Schedule: Multiple day, swing, and night shift options including 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Openings: 1

Position Overview
Provide hospital medicine coverage across multiple acute care sites within the same regional health system. This is a time sensitive go live need with the team targeting onboarding completion by September 1, 2026 for clean and complete files.

Clinical Scope

• Adult hospitalist coverage
• Closed ICU model
• Admissions and workflow include a dedicated admitting team with time to admission expectations
• No procedures are required
• Vent management experience is required and recent logs are required within the last 24 months
• EMR: Epic

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine background
• Board certified or board eligible
• Active California medical license
• ACLS
• DEA
• Clean and complete credentialing file and high responsiveness throughout onboarding

Credentialing

• Typical credentialing timeframe is 60 to 90 days, with potential to extend up to 120 days depending on volume
