Genesis Health Clubs is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Fitness Manager to lead and grow the Personal Training department at our Tri-State Athletic Club in Evansville, Indiana .

This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than simply managing a schedule. We're looking for a self-starter who wants to take ownership of a department , recruit and develop great trainers, build relationships with members, drive Personal Training revenue, and be rewarded for the results they produce.

What You'll Own

• Lead the overall growth, performance, and profitability of the Personal Training department
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop a high-performing team of Personal Trainers
• Generate Personal Training sales through fitness consultations, member relationships, and consistent follow-up
• Personally train clients while developing and growing the department
• Ensure new members are connected with fitness services and receive a strong onboarding experience
• Set expectations and hold trainers accountable for production, service, follow-up, and member retention
• Track department revenue, consultations, sessions, payroll, and other key performance indicators
• Develop strategies to increase Personal Training participation and revenue
• Maintain a schedule that allows the department to serve members during peak hours
• Work directly with the Club Manager and regional fitness leadership to establish and achieve department goals
• Maintain a professional, energetic, and results-focused culture throughout the fitness department

• Organized enough to manage the business side of a growing training department
• Professional, energetic, and comfortable leading from the front

Requirements

• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification
• Current CPR certification
• Personal Training experience required; fitness leadership or sales experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication, sales, and customer-service skills
• Ability to work effectively with members, trainers, and club leadership
• Flexible availability, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays based on club needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to demonstrate exercises and Personal Training techniques
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
• Ability to lift 35+ pounds
• Ability to communicate effectively with members, staff, and leadership
