Position Type Contract Onsite Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain preferred. Experience: One to two years of experience in transportation or logistical operations. Technical Skills: Familiarity with WMS, SAP, transportation systems, and labor management systems. Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a strategic mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities. Communication: Excellent cross‑functional collaboration, team building skills, and the ability to influence in a matrixed environment. Flexibility: Comfortable working in unstructured environments and making quick, informed decisions. Travel: Occasional travel required (less than 10%). Responsibilities As the Warehouse Transportation Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in driving operational excellence, team development, and strategic 3PL partnerships while supporting all aspects of the inbound/ outbound dock schedule. Lead communication with all transport carriers, utilizing high level planning and performance management. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Solve day‑to‑day transportation challenges and achieve long‑term goals with scheduling. Partner with 3PL on new site startup dock scheduling, implementation of the dock schedule, and its execution. Drive improvements in dock performance by providing a strategic dock schedule. Leverage and Spotlight Optimization tools to enhance scheduling and product availability. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies, including safety, transportation, accounting, and purchasing. Ensure on‑time delivery aligned with requested/scheduled arrival dates. Build strong relationships across the Power of One network. Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve operational issues and deliver exceptional customer service. Oversee all scheduling responsibilities and execute daily route orders in compliance with the transportation route guide. Track carrier performance and troubleshoot any loads at risk of missing requested arrival dates. Ensure new orders comply with guidelines on weight and method of shipment. Schedule all assigned inbound and outbound shipments to our facility. Schedule appointments on all loads, working with the campus manager and third‑party facility manager on dock capacity scheduling. Coordinate with carriers on daily execution and with on‑site transportation to deliver daily and weekly measurables. Collaborate with the COE, warehouse, and transportation teams on scheduling issues and unscheduled loads. Maintain reason code input within SAP for open order status reporting. Review previous day’s dock schedule to ensure all orders shipped, or reschedule as needed. Collaborate with the shipping office regarding specific shipment requirements. Accountable for Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance on relevant reports and shipment status reporting. Own daily, weekly, and period service metrics relevant to the role.
