Details:

• Maintenance Technician
• Ottawa,IL
• 1st Shift 5am-3:30pm
• Pay rate 25-28/hr

Responsibilities or job duties:

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Install and maintain production equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Help line operator, line leader or line supervisor keep the line in the basic condition. 
• Participating in the start-up of new products in the production lines.
• Demonstrate strong mechanic skills including, but not limited to, electrical, pneumatic hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• HS diploma/GED
• Valid DL
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.
• Experience with electrical circuits from 24v dc up to and including 480v 3 ph.
