Project Controls AnalystThe Project Controls Analyst or Sr. Project Controls Analyst is responsible for assisting their assigned Project Manager in the planning, cost control, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial success of assigned projects. The Project Controls Analyst will assist their assigned Project Manager in coordinating contractual requirements, design development, and construction progress.Location & Travel Details: You will be primarily located in one of 3 locations: South Florida, Ohio, or Illinois. You'll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build infrastructure projects. Join one of the largest construction firms in the country (Engineering News-Record [ENR]: #1 in Power, #17 Top 50 Domestic Heavy Contractors, #20 Transportation Contractor).ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & Project ControlsMonthly Forecasting and FAC Cost Control (Budget, Commitments & Actuals)Job Cost Analysis - VariancesProject Schedule ManagementWeekly Project Coordination MeetingsMeeting Minutes and DocumentationGeneration of the Project Status Report (PSR)Job Cost ReportsVerifying S/C Application for Payment ProcessingS/C BackchargesContract AdministrationPunch-List ManagementSupport Warranty Review & ProcurementRisk RegisterChange Management (PCO/PCCO)Prime Contract Payment ApplicationsFormal Documentation of Notices to Owners and Notices to SubcontractorsThe Project Controls Analyst participates in developing and presenting designated subjects in training classes and on the job training for specific processes and practices to the project team members (PM, PFE, Superintendent).The Project Controls Analyst will also work closely and collaborate with the PFE and Superintendent in respect of construction progress, subcontractor issues (i.e. back charges), permits, inspections, owner issues, field procurement and work-rounds.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, and/or a related field with 5+ years' work experience within the engineering/construction industryProven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentSuperior communication skills (oral and written)Highly organized and structuredIn-depth knowledge of Standard Accounting practices and proceduresStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teamsSuperior skills with Microsoft Office and Procore Project Management systemProject Scheduling Experience with MS Project and/or Primavera P6Document ControlAbility to travel and/or relocateExperience in projects greater than $50 millionExperience with and ProcoreBilingual (English/Spanish)
