Job Duties and Responsibilities Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair. Ensures that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag, gloves and goggles. Trains associates on safety standards and enforces those standards consistently. Identifies associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrains them appropriately. Completes accident investigations and takes steps to prevent future accidents. Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning. Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift. Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness. Performs opening and closing shift duties. Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary. Monitors cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances. Acts as Manager on Duty when required. Is available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Performs various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives. Education and Experience Minimum of two (2) years in a senior housekeeping leadership position. Minimum of high school education; post‑high‑school education preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic computer skills. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
