About the Position

Role:  Emergency Department/ Emergency Room RN
Location: Clinton, IL
Schedule:  Night Shift | 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM | Every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
EMR: Meditech

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs and clinical conditions.
• Monitor patient status and promptly recognize changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Communicate patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic test results to Emergency Department physicians and healthcare team members.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes.
• Adjust nursing interventions and care plans as needed to ensure safe, effective treatment.
• Deliver care that addresses psychosocial, physical, emotional, and general patient needs.
• Provide education, support, and clear communication to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrate professional accountability, initiative, and sound clinical decision-making in emergency situations.
• Promote patient safety, quality care, and efficient department operations.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Current  Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
• Current  BLS (Basic Life Support)certification.
• Current  ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)certification.
• Current  PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)certification.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment.

Preferred:

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)certification.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)certification.
• TNS (Trauma Nurse Specialist)certification.
• Previous Emergency Department nursing experience.

• Weekly Amount = $2398
• Weekly Taxable Amount = $1152
• Weekly Non-Taxable Amount = $1246
• Overtime Rate = $82.61/hr

Pay (Local):

• Hourly Amount = $62
• Weekly Amount = $2232
• Overtime Rate = $93/hr
