Ray ad Son Heating and Air Conditioning, GALocally owned and operated since 1965.We are a full-service commercial mechanical contractor serving Nashville, Valdosta and the surrounding areas with HVAC and plumbing services for residential homeowners and commercial businesses.We are looking for an Experienced HVAC Estimator:This position will be Estimating Commercial HVAC New Construction and Renovation Installations, as well as Design-Build projects from $1 Million - $10Million. Example of some of our projects: hotels / hospitality, K-12 Schools and higher learning, and other commercial / light commercial buildings.Our TEAM is very dedicated to what they do and are in it "for the long haul." The average employee has 10 or more years of service with our company.Benefits: Medical Insurance 60% paid for employeeVision & Dental insuranceOther supplemental insurance options 2 Weeks (80 hours) Paid Vacation 6 Paid Holidays 3 personal / sick days (24 hours)401K + company matchCompany Cell PhoneCompany UniformCompany iPadPosition: HVAC Estimator - ExperiencedPay Range: $100,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience and credentialsPay Type: Salary / ExemptWork Hours: Full TimeLocation: Valdosta & Nashville GAWhat you will be doing: Estimating Commercial Projects - New Construction / Design-Builds & RenovationsEstimating HVAC, duct work, Sheetmetal, Hydronic piping and PlumbingMaterial and labor takeoffs to identify material quantities, labor hours, and costAssemble and submit proposals directly to clientsReview preliminary quotes and pre-bid estimatesUtilizing Electronic Takeoff Systems (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Builder Trend, etc.)Job Qualifications / Skills Needed:Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC project estimationMechanical Engineer degree desiredAbility to perform material and labor takeoffs to identify material quantities, labor hours, and costCompetitive trade bids comparison experienceAttention to detail when analyzing blueprints to prepare accurate specific takeoffsAbility to work with mathematical concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) as conversionsExcellent knowledge of Electronic Takeoff Systems (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Builder Trend, etc.)Ability to work independently and know when to consult other members of the teamExcellent communication skills (written/verbal)Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsMust be highly organized and detail-orientedValid driver's license and insurable driving recordCandidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
