Position Summary The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience managing commercial drywall projects. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all phases of drywall construction — from pre-construction through project closeout — ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability. A strong understanding of framing and drywall systems, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency with industry software are essential. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of commercial drywall projects. Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met. Prepare project budgets, schedules, submittals, change orders, and reports. Monitor job progress, quality control, safety compliance, and profitability. Resolve job site issues and conflicts promptly and effectively. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with codes, specifications, and quality standards. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial drywall construction. Proven ability to manage drywall projects from start to finish in both occupied and new construction settings. Proficient in construction software tools such as On-Screen Takeoff, PlanGrid, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required.
