Senior QA Automation Engineer | Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) | Contract-to-Hire
We are staffing a Senior QA Automation Engineer role for a high-volume enterprise payment platform in Atlanta. This is a hands-on individual contributor position — not a fit for those transitioning out of management or director-level roles.
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite; policy subject to change)
Pay Rate: $43–$46/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Duration: 12-month contract | Contract-to-Hire (conversion expected at 10–18 months)

About the Role
You will independently design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks supporting Agile Scrum teams on monthly pace releases. The platform processes approximately 300 transactions per second, making automation quality and coverage mission critical. Work is approximately 90% automation and 10% manual.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on QA automation experience with a proven track record as a senior automation or principal engineer within the last 5 years
- Experience independently building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks; Selenium and Playwright strongly preferred
- Strong coding skills in Java, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript with solid OOP fundamentals
- API testing experience with REST APIs using Postman or REST Assured — candidates must be able to execute and validate API calls independently
- SQL proficiency — ability to write joins and intermediate queries
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Full-stack understanding of web application architecture (front-end, middle tier, database) with testing experience across all three layers
- Foundational knowledge of ADA compliance and WCAG 2.1/2.2 (Level A & AA); familiarity with NVDA and BrowserStack a plus
