Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Weatherford, TX provides emergency nursing care in a 23-bed emergency department serving patients requiring standard emergency procedures and Level IV trauma care. The role supports a collaborative clinical environment with a 4:1 patient ratio and requires experience in emergency nursing, current certifications, and an active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 7:00 PM7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with weekends every other weekend.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience; active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. Temporary licenses are not accepted.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech.
• Additional Information: The emergency department provides standard emergency procedures and Level IV trauma care, including primary stroke services. The clinical environment includes a 4:1 patient ratio. Royal blue scrubs are required. Clean, healthy nails are required, and artificial nails, gel, and similar nail enhancements are not permitted. Hair must be neat and clean, with shoulder-length or longer hair pulled back while working in the laboratory. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed. Visible non-ear piercings are prohibited, and body art should be covered whenever possible. Shoes must be made of non-absorbent material with slip-resistant soles; breathable mesh athletic shoes without a leather or man-made upper are not permitted.
