This full-time, in-person contract position is located near Webster, NY and is available until a permanent internal hire is made—a fantastic chance to build valuable experience in a supportive academic environment.

The assignment begins September 8, 2026. As a vital member of the team, you will play a key role in providing social-emotional support and services, working closely with students, faculty, and families.

Key qualifications:

• Active NYS School Social Worker (SSW) certification required
• Current LMSW or LCSW license
• Experience working in school or educational settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver direct counseling to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional needs
• Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Act as a liaison between students, families, and school staff to coordinate resources
• Support crisis intervention and conflict resolution within the school community
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with fellow professionals to foster a positive school environment
