Position Day Program Lead Skills Instructor Location: Wakefield, MA Pay rate: $21.00 per hour Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday (8am-4pm) Benefits Tiered pay increases based on years of service, pending performance evaluations 3 weeks’ vacation, 1 week sick time, and 12 holidays for new full-time employees Low-cost benefit plans – Medical & dental insurance, employer-paid life insurance, and long-term disability coverage Tuition reimbursement eligibility after 90 days of employment Summary & Responsibilities Participating in the development and direct implementation of curriculum to teach groups in both a classroom setting and out in the community. Participating in the development and implementation of the Individual Support Plan, writing annual assessments and goals, and attending team meetings as scheduled. Developing and implementing community-based activities that promote personal choice, community inclusion, dignity, and respect while enhancing personal skill development. Providing support and guidance to Skills Instructors. Provide personal care and assistance to individuals consistent with individual needs as they strive to reach their goals. Qualifications High School diploma required (BA degree in Human Services or related field preferred) At least 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities is preferred A passion and dedication to supporting our people is a must Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record Must pass company background and reference checks #J-18808-Ljbffr communitasinc
