What You’ll Work On

• On-site repairs for case goods, leather, and upholstered items—entry-level through advanced tasks.
• Minor surface fixes on tables and case pieces; solid color paper/side refinishes; small corner rebuilds.
• Advanced replacement-part repairs; accurate reporting when a repair cannot be completed on-site.
• Damage assessment to select the most efficient method; advise when “like-new” outcomes are achievable.
• Safe use of drills, impact drivers, multi-tools, and related equipment; working knowledge of spray booth setup and operation.
• Keep your service vehicle stocked, orderly, and ready; communicate tool, hardware, and supply needs promptly.
• Team with warehouse staff on minor touch-up best practices; identify damage, loss, or surplus in stored goods.
• Capture and follow up on patterns in recurring product damage.
• Plan your route for on-time arrivals; comply with company driving policies and annual MVR review requirements.

• Participate in bench testing to validate and sharpen your craftsmanship.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma.
• 1+ year in furniture repair (upholstery, leather, wood refinishing) or similar material work with color-matching experience.
• English reading/writing proficiency; multilingual ability is helpful.
• Independent time management and accountability.
• Ability to learn internal computer applications.
• Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable MVR under company guidelines.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Visual requirements include close/distance, color, peripheral, depth, and focus changes.
• Hear, comprehend, and speak clearly with customers and teammates.
• Periods of sitting and frequent standing/movement throughout the day.
• Regular bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, crouching; reaching at/above shoulder level.
• Repetitive hand use for typing/writing, POS/office devices, and handheld tools.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs. independently; more with assistance.
• Work mainly in private homes and retail settings; occasional warehouse tasks.
• Possible exposure to oil, latex, spray paint, household chemicals, biological odors, and dust; moderate office noise.
