Accounting Manager : Hybrid

Accounting Manager (Hybrid) Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year. About the Role We are seeking an experienced accounting professional with a passion for leading teams and driving financial success within the construction industry. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including the management of accounting staff. Train staff to ensure they are up to date with the latest accounting practices and software. Prepare monthly financial reports, provide insights on the company's financial status, and propose actionable solutions for improvement. Manage cash flow and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Process bonuses and other forms of financial compensation for the team. Prepare and review year‑end financial statements and lead the year‑end close process. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the latest financial legislation. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of managerial accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Extensive experience with financial reporting and preparing financial statements. Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting. Proficiency in accounting software such as Timberline, Sage 300, Sage Intacct, and Great Plains. Excellent leadership skills, with experience training and managing a team. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
