The unit has a 10 bed capacity and functions as an admission unit. Patients include general medical and surgical patients awaiting surgery. Candidates should be able to manage a patient ratio of 5:1. The role requires candidates who can adapt to a faster patient turnover than typical medical/surgical units. A complete work history with no gaps greater than 60 days is necessary. Candidates must submit a skills checklist, references, and certification cards. Nursys license verification is also required.
