Job Summary The Senior Business Data Analyst will handle complex business system and data analytic tasks supporting departmental goals. This role includes serving as a senior analytics and technical lead, primarily managing Point32Health’s APCD submissions, data reconciliations, and stakeholder reporting. It is a part-time position requiring at least 3 days per week. Required Qualifications SQL, Healthcare experience, 5-7 years of experience, Bachelor's Degree. SAS/Alteryx preferred. Nice to have: SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle experience. Responsibilities include regulatory file submissions, stakeholder communication, business requirement documentation, file error resolution, and report/dashboard creation. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on analytic assignments. Create technology roadmaps aligned with business strategies. Document requirements, business rules, and data standards. Develop design recommendations complying with standards and regulations. Review design proposals with governance committees. Plan and implement complex solutions including code, reports, and analytics. Train personnel on testing and ensure solution compliance. Maintain core data content and quality thresholds. Lead data remediation projects and monitor production processes. Analyze issues for root causes and implement modifications. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Preferred: Master’s degree. 5-7 years of professional experience, ideally in healthcare data warehousing. Experience in documenting requirements, use cases, and testing. Experience with Master Data Management, Teradata, Oracle, and analytic tools. Skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data skills. Experience in finance or clinical insurance data. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Advanced SAS and SQL skills, understanding of data modeling and ETL. Quick learner, resilient, collaborative, innovative. Working Conditions Office and remote work as needed. May require extended sitting, use of phone/headset, and additional hours.
