Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient radiation oncology unit in Edmonds, Washington. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric oncology patients, with a focus on outpatient treatments and radiation therapy. This position offers a dynamic environment suitable for experienced RNs seeking to contribute to oncology patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with shifts starting at either 0700-1500 or 1400-2200, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification, oncology experience of at least 3 years, experience with Epic electronic charting system, a minimum of 0 years of experience, and current certification in Radiation Oncology. Additional skills include familiarity with external beam radiation therapy (Teletherapy), intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), and managing outpatient oncology patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior charge nurse experience and extensive knowledge of oncology-specific procedures.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for managing outpatient oncology treatments, monitoring patient responses, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The position is primarily 8-hour morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday, with no weekend or call requirements.

• Experience Required: 3 years in oncology nursing, with preferred radiation oncology background.
