Here, your goals are supported, your development is prioritized, and your contributions truly matter.View our Careers Page here to see what it's like to work at King O'Rourke Auto Group!Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough vehicle damage assessments and follow repair plans based on OEM specifications and insurance estimatesRepair and restore vehicles with structural and cosmetic damageReplace or repair damaged body panels, suspensions, and related componentsPerform dent repair, apply body filler (Bondo), and sand panels for refinishingPrep, mask, and refinish vehicles to ensure proper color match and finish qualityOperate specialized tools and equipment safely and efficiently, including MIG, TIG, and resistance welding systemsMaintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work areaFollow all safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and shop proceduresCollaborate with estimators, parts personnel, and service advisors to ensure timely and accurate repairsDocument repairs and communicate progress with supervisors and team membersQualifications2 to 5+ years of experience in auto body or collision repairProficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, resistance) and use of specialized tools and equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to read and interpret repair estimates and OEM repair proceduresI-CAR certification desirable; ASE certification a plusApplicants are expected to have their own tools; basic equipment can be provided if necessaryExcellent time management and organizational skillsValid driver’s license and clean driving recordWhat We OfferMonday through Friday work schedule occasional SaturdaysCompetitive hourly or flat-rate compensation based on experiencePaid time off and holidaysOngoing trainingA supportive, team-oriented work environmentHealth Insurance after 90 DaysThe job descriptions and responsibilities above will be required but not limited to any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor.
