PURPOSE: Supports the Branch Manager in overseeing all daily branch operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, personnel supervision, expenses, and branch administration. The Assistant Branch Manager serves as the Branch Manager’s backup and ensures smooth branch performance in their absence. This position contributes to branch profitability and customer satisfaction by promoting efficiency, teamwork, and consistent execution of company standards

PRINICIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Develops and maintains strong customer relationships to promote satisfaction, sales growth, and increased revenue.
• Support and coach the inside sales team to achieve customer service and sales goals.
• Identify new business opportunities through counter or phone sales and communicate leads to the outside sales team or Branch Manager.
• Help plan, coordinate, and direct branch operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional service.
• Supervise and assist with scheduling, assigning tasks, coaching, and performance feedback for branch employees.
• Work with the Branch Manager and Regional Manager to maintain competitive pricing and healthy profit margins.
• Oversees daily cycle counts, annual physical inventories, and inventory control processes.
• Contributes to execution of the annual branch plan and monthly or seasonal merchandising initiatives.
• Directly supervises inside sales team and oversight of others
• Serve as acting Branch Manager in their absence.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Participate in after-hours (on-call) schedule and after-hours training
• Travel Requirement – Travel is required for training during onboarding phase and ongoing training as needed. This will include overnight stays. May require travel to customer or job sites. May travel to corporate for branch manager meetings, to trade and/or industry conferences and training.

Pay:

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years HVAC Experience
• 3-5 years Sales Experience
• Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred
• 3-5 years Customer Service experience
• 3-5 years Warehouse/Distribution experience
• Proficient Computer Skills in MS office
• Forklift training
