About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for a rewarding locum tenens Electrophysiology opportunity in Pennsylvania. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative cardiovascular team caring for patients across electrophysiology and interventional cardiology services.

The selected provider will evaluate, manage, and support adult patients with a variety of cardiac conditions while working in a dynamic environment that includes hospital, clinic, and academic practice settings. This role is ideal for a Physician Assistant with cardiology experience seeking schedule stability, professional growth, and long-term assignment potential.

Position Highlights:
• Full-time locum tenens assignment beginning September 2026
• Ongoing coverage opportunity
• Monday through Thursday schedule
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Flexible scheduling available
• Approximately 18 patients per day
• Adult patient population ranging from 18 to 100 years old
• Dedicated clinical support team
• Epic EMR system
• Exposure to advanced cardiovascular and electrophysiology services
• Academic, outpatient, and hospital-based practice settings

Clinical Exposure Includes:
• Electrophysiology patient management
• Pacemaker implantation follow-up
• ICD device management
• Loop recorder monitoring and follow-up
• Ablation patient care
• Interventional cardiology patient evaluation
• Pre-operative and post-operative cardiovascular management
• Comprehensive cardiac patient assessments and treatment planning

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active Physician Assistant license required
• NCCPA certification required
• DEA registration required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, or Electrophysiology experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
