Branford Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a fifth veterinarian to our amazing team. Our 8‑year‑old facility is loved by our employees and clients. The support staff is gentle, supportive, and caring, creating an engaging, upbeat work day. Our veterinarians range from eight to twenty years of experience. We value collaboration, support, and mentoring, and are open to mentoring a new graduate or welcoming an experienced colleague. We have three CVTs, utilize Fear‑Free techniques, and a state‑of‑the‑art equipment list. Facilities and Equipment Two blood chemistry machines Two AI microscopes Digital radiology unit Tonopen iM3 high‑speed dental drill Digital dental x‑rays Clarius handheld ultrasound unit Three anesthesia machines Two digital anesthesia monitors Central oxygen Avimark software Sound‑proof, ventilated, glass‑door runs Responsibilities Provide preventive care, hospital care, surgery, and dentistry to a diverse patient population. Handle basic exotic animal cases as needed. Collaborate with local rescue groups, municipal animal control, and police dog units. Consult with visiting specialists in surgery and radiology and refer clients to local specialty hospitals as appropriate. Participate in clinic mentoring and continuing education. Qualifications USA resident. DVM or VMD degree. License to practice (or license eligible) in Connecticut. Ability to lift 40 pounds. Benefits Base salary of $125,000.
