Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations across body regions as ordered (e.g., chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, c-spine, and related studies)
- Prepare patients, verify orders, obtain consent, and position patients for optimal imaging
- Administer iodinated contrast via venipunture according to protocol and NYS DOH venipuncture requirements; monitor patients during contrast administration
- Operate CT equipment (CT scanners) and adjust protocols to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
- Ensure patient and staff safety through adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and equipment QC procedures
- Document procedures and findings in the electronic health record and related imaging systems (EPIC and PbXIS) and coordinate with radiologists and the care team
- Provide call and holiday coverage as scheduled; CT techs are not required to float to other units
- Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and colleagues; participate in unit routines and protocol adherence

Requirements
- New York state license, or proof of application with applied date (documentation required in packet at submission)
- ARRT CT certification
- NYS DOH venipuncture certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical CT experience; 1 year in CT specialty
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12) and comply with scheduled call/holiday coverage; not self-scheduling
- Ability to perform IV injections for contrast as required
