Manufacturing Technician
Eagan, MN | Contract to Hire | $23 – $28/hour
4-day work week (Mon–Thurs, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
Seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support production and assembly in a custom fabrication shop. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic shop experience who enjoys working with tools, learning new skills, and contributing to a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate basic shop equipment (miter saw, drill press, grinders, etc.)
- Perform assembly, drilling, cutting, and basic fabrication tasks
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Read tape measures and assist with basic print interpretation
- Support packaging, crating, and shipping preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Assist with general shop and material handling duties
Qualifications
- Some experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or on a team
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Preferred Skills
- Aluminum welding experience
- Electrical wiring experience
- Forklift experience
