This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Physical Therapist seeking a position with a smaller, manageable caseload in a school-based environment, working closely with students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID). The position runs through June 10, 2027, offering valuable stability and the chance to build strong connections in the community.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license/certification for the state of Pennsylvania (must provide proof of licensure)
• Previous experience in school-based physical therapy required
• Comfort and flexibility working in an urban school environment
• Experience with, or strong interest in, ASD and ID student populations
• Willingness to obtain and maintain PA state clearances as required
• Ability to manage a K-12 student caseload in person
• Open to sharing district details with candidates during hiring process

Your Contribution Will Include:

• Providing onsite therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload
• Developing and carrying out individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating closely with educational staff, families, and other related service providers
• Supporting students’ physical development and functional independence
• Maintaining thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to team discussions regarding student care
