As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed. Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, documenting patrol observations, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
