Wellness Coordinator

Job Summary Our senior living community is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to join our dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of residents, families, and the community. Ownership Responsibilities Provide hands‑on supervision of assigned Wellness staff, ensuring provision of quality resident care and promotion of resident wellness. Provide direct care services to residents as needed, ensuring optimal health and safety. Support all community policies and programs in conjunction with the Wellness Director. Engage in ongoing personal development in leadership, communication, and management skills. Assume specific community management responsibilities as assigned. Maintain knowledge of current assisted living regulations. Ensure compliance with community policies, pharmacy policies, and state/federal agency regulations. Actively protect resident and staff safety by recognizing, reporting, and taking immediate action to minimize risks. Report incidents according to policy and laws. Assist the Wellness Director in meeting infection control guidelines and tracking procedures. Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, recruitment, hiring, training, and ongoing education. Participate in evaluations, coaching, and training of Wellness staff. Ensure medication associate training meets regulatory and quality standards. Critical Success Factors Current license/certification as required by regulatory bodies. Minimum of one year experience in assisted living or health care. Prior supervisory experience in the healthcare environment strongly preferred. Current CPR certification. Qualifications Minimum qualifications include a valid state or federal license (if applicable), one year of experience in assisted living or health care, and a current CPR certification.
