This facility provides inpatient emergency medical services to the regional patient population and maintains established clinical protocols to support quality care delivery. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during assigned day shift coverage periods. Infrastructure and resources are in place to facilitate effective clinical operations throughout the assignment.

About the Facility Location

The surrounding area offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and recreational opportunities suited to varied interests. Conecuh National Forest provides settings for hiking, fishing, camping, and wildlife viewing along trails that wind through longleaf forest. Nearby Lake Jackson, a 1,000-acre lake, draws visitors seeking lakeside recreation, walking trails, and picnic areas, while the local historic district and community markets round out options for leisure during time away from clinical duties.

About the Clinician's Workday

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide inpatient locum tenens clinical coverage during day shifts at this on-site facility, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries across all age groups. Clinicians will manage a range of emergency presentations and coordinate care as clinically indicated throughout each assigned shift. No call responsibilities are associated with this position. Board certification is not required for this assignment.
