About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Connecticut, who will be the senior leader responsible for the organization's success in the state. The successful candidate will be tasked with growing the company's impact by securing philanthropic and earned revenue, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring exceptional program delivery. This role requires a leader with a strong background in fundraising, business development, relationship management, and organizational leadership. The Executive Director will be measured by their ability to secure sustainable revenue, expand the company's presence, and improve student outcomes. Key responsibilities include leading the growth strategy, cultivating relationships with various stakeholders, and leading a regional team to ensure the organization's goals are met. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 15 years of leadership experience. A proven track record in fundraising, strategic partnerships, and team development is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong financial and business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to educational equity. Experience in K-12 education, knowledge of the local education landscape, and existing relationships within the community are preferred. The role is remote and requires regular travel throughout Connecticut. The Executive Director will be expected to think strategically, execute operationally, and build high-performing teams to deliver exceptional results for the company's partners and the students it serves.
