Heavy Equipment Technician Mechanic Department: Service Employment Type: Full Time Location: Vermeer All Roads - Hopkinton Description Are you a self-starter who enjoys working with diesel engines and problem solving? Vermeer All Roads in Hopkinton, MA is excited to bring on a new addition as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This role will diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer construction equipment. Compensation & Schedule $25-$40 per hour (based on experience) Production bonuses available Sign on bonus up to $5000 for qualified candidates Key Responsibilities Service, repair & recondition Vermeer equipment Diagnose equipment malfunctions including hydraulic & electrical experience Welding as needed Recognize and recommend appropriate repairs to the Service Manager Create accurate repair estimates, CDK experience a plus Communicate with OEM/factory for technical assistance Other duties as assigned Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic and electrical diagnostic capability Previous experience working on heavy equipment or heavy duty trucks Proficient ability to document in CDK Detail oriented, organized, safety focused and team player Benefits Medical, dental, vision & supplemental options available on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment 401k with company contribution Paid Time Off (5 days after 90 days of employment) Paid training and bonuses for certifications completed Company paid holidays Employee referral bonus program (for employee and new hire) Work Authorization All Roads Company does not provide H-1B sponsorship.
