Role Description This part-time remote Payroll Specialist role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and verifying timesheets and compensation data, entering and updating employee information in payroll systems, and reviewing calculations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. The Payroll Specialist will manage deductions, support handling of garnishments, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies. The role also involves monitoring payroll deadlines, preparing basic reports, and collaborating with finance or HR teams to maintain organized records and support audits as needed.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Payroll Processing and Payroll Administration skills to manage end-to-end payroll activities accurately.
• Candidates should possess experience with Payroll Taxes and Payroll Services to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Garnishments and related deductions to handle court-ordered and other mandatory withholdings correctly.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with payroll software and basic accounting tools, along with solid data entry and spreadsheet skills.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet recurring deadlines in a remote, part-time environment.
