• Patient Demographics:Adults, OB/GYN patients
• Patient Volume/Census:20 patients/day
• Case Mix:Low-risk pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy, labor and delivery, gynecology, surgical gynecology, emergency OB/GYN cases

FACILITY INFORMATION
• No. of Beds in Department:337 hospital beds
• Trauma Level:Level 2
• EMR System:Epic
• Specialty Backup Available:FPOB residents in-house during OB rotations
• Support Staff Available:13 PA/NPs, RN cohort support, minimum 1:1 MA-to-provider ratio
• Reason for Coverage:Supplemental coverage

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses:Active Washington license or IMLC
• Board:Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• DEA:Active DEA Certification required
• Certifications:BLS
• Experience:Minimum 3 years of OB/GYN experience required (2+ years plus fellowship considered)
• Other Qualifications: Ability to mentor/advisory support for new graduate providers and APPs

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide outpatient OB/GYN clinic coverage Monday through Friday
• Support APPs and midwives with complex patients
• Perform OB/GYN surgical procedures and flex into the OR as needed
• Manage labor and delivery patients including high-risk obstetrics
• Mentor and advise new graduate providers when applicable
• Handle emergent OB/GYN surgical cases from the ED including hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy, D&C, ovarian cystectomy, and exploratory laparotomy
