As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business entities.
Position Summary
The Staff Accountant is responsible for daily accounting activities, accounts payable and receivable, payroll reconciliations, account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close processes. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their accounting career within a growing organization. This is a fully on-site position that requires regular in-office attendance and offers opportunities for in-person collaboration with the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Perform daily accounting functions and general ledger maintenance.
- Assist with payroll reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
- Ensure transactions are accurately coded and recorded.
- Support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
- Assist with multi-entity accounting and consolidation activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with AP, AR, payroll reconciliation, and general accounting.
- Experience with NetSuite preferred.
- Strong Excel and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
