Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 3rd to May 28th, offering an engaging position for Speech-Language Pathologists in the Rio Rancho, NM area. Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active New Mexico License in Speech-Language Pathology from the New Mexico Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board
• New Mexico License issued by the PED Ancillary and Support Services
• Background in pediatrics, schools, CFY, or healthcare settings preferred
• Clinical competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, articulation, and language disorders in students PreK–12
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with district and state regulations
• Administer assessments and participate in eligibility meetings, progress monitoring, and annual reviews
• Consult with staff to design classroom strategies that foster an inclusive environment
