Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Estate Planning Attorney in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills, and will be responsible for preparing estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. This full-time role emphasizes quality client service without the pressure of billable hours. Duties Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents including wills and trusts. Conduct client consultations and guide them through the estate planning process. Advise clients on plans for incapacity and asset distribution. Manage estate planning matters from initial engagement through completion. Maintain accurate and organized client files. Communicate proactively with clients regarding their matters. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-level legal services. Stay current on estate planning laws and best practices. Conduct workshops and seminars to educate the community. Assist with training or mentoring team members as needed. Requirements Excellent communication skills, especially in stressful situations. Experience in estate planning and probate law for at least 1-2 years. EducationBachelor's degree with a legal background. J.D. degree required. CertificationsActive member of the American Bar Association (ABA). Skills Knowledge of real estate-related topics such as title insurance and property management.
