About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff for its Online Grocery division, a pivotal role in the organization's mission to provide access to the food people love. The successful candidate will be a strategic and operational partner to the General Manager, overseeing the business's operating rhythm, and continuously improving its processes. This includes managing the operating cadence for the GM, shaping the substance of leadership team offsites, and driving the organization's decision-making and execution. The Chief of Staff will also be responsible for strengthening the company's culture, driving priority programs, and being a trusted thought partner to the GM and a credible problem-solving partner to product and R&D leaders. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of work experience, with a background in R&D, consulting, corporate strategy, operations, or finance, and a proven track record of working directly with executives. The role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, outstanding communication skills, and exceptional program management abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-growth, technology-driven companies, and a strong understanding of how product, design, and engineering teams operate. Responsibilities also include managing the organization's headcount budget, preparing executive communication, and driving the company's annual and long-range planning. The Chief of Staff will be a key player in the company's efforts to create a high-trust, high-performance leadership team culture and will be instrumental in turning engagement survey signals into action.
