We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to work 20-25 hours per week. The ideal candidate will support our primary care clinic by providing essential clinical and patient care services under the physician's direction. This role involves extensive patient interaction and education, accurate clinical documentation, and support for basic procedures, including EKGs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake and obtain vital signs.
• Collect and document comprehensive medical histories.
• Perform medication reconciliation.
• Prepare exam rooms for patient visits.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Perform basic EKG and point-of-service procedures.
• Provide patient education and support.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical assisting experience.
• Medical Assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited program.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Knowledge of vital signs measurement, HIPAA compliance, clinical documentation, and patient care.
• Strong communication skills.
