Job Title: Technology Contract Administrator

Location: Tampa, FL 33607

Work Schedule: Onsite

Contract Length: 6 Months with Opportunity for Extension or Conversion

Pay: 40-50 per hr on W2

Position Summary

Seeking a Technology Contract Administrator responsible for the preparation, solicitation, negotiation, award, and commercial management of contracts supporting electric and natural gas infrastructure projects.

This position focuses heavily on contract development from initial sourcing through contract execution , including professional consulting services, software solutions, Software as a Service (SaaS), non-disclosure agreements, license agreements, architect and engineering services, construction services, and major engineered equipment purchases.

The Contract Administrator III will independently manage contract administration activities, lead sourcing and bid evaluations, negotiate contract terms, and ensure compliance with procurement regulations and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid evaluation processes, coordinating commercial and technical evaluations.
• Prepare contract award recommendations, finalize agreements, and coordinate contract execution.
• Develop, negotiate, write, and administer contracts from initial sourcing through execution and closeout.
• Manage contracts involving professional consulting services, software solutions, SaaS, non-disclosure agreements, and license agreements.
• Administer contracts for architect and engineering services, construction services, and major engineered equipment purchases.
• Negotiate change orders and support claims and dispute resolution.
• Review contractor invoices for compliance with contractual terms.
• Monitor compliance with contractor lien laws and prepare contract closeout documentation.
• Serve as a liaison with Enterprise Security, Legal, and Risk Management departments.
• Conduct contractor due diligence in collaboration with project teams to assess technical and commercial capabilities.
• Lead RFx sourcing events and support procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local procurement laws and regulations.
• Manage multiple contracts while maintaining accuracy and meeting project requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the contracting lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of direct experience performing contract administration responsibilities related to construction, project engineering, information technology, contract management, and project management.
• Working knowledge of technology or construction contracting and general contract law.
• Experience negotiating, writing, developing, and administering contracts, with a strong focus on contract development through execution.
• Experience with contracts involving consulting services, software solutions, SaaS, non-disclosure agreements, and license agreements.
• Experience with architect/engineering services, construction services, and major engineered equipment related to electric power generation and energy and gas delivery facilities.
• Understanding of contract delivery methods, including design-build, EPC, design/engineer, construction, and design-and-furnish arrangements with technical direction of installation.
• Experience leading RFx sourcing events.
• Knowledge of contract types, including lump sum, unit price, cost plus fixed fee, and cost plus incentive fee.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts accurately.
• Effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ERP or SAP environments.
• Familiarity or experience with contract management software.
• Experience with electronic signature tools.
