Director of HRIS

Looking for a Director of HRIS to lead enterprise HR technology strategy and delivery. Must own platform roadmap and governance for UKG Core HR/payroll, talent modules, SmartRecruiters, and critical integrations, ensuring secure, SOX‑compliant, reliable data flows and high‑quality teammate experiences. Top Skills UKG Core expertise including HR/Payroll, Talent Modules and SmartRecruiters Previous experience with leadership in HR technology at a company with 5,000+ employees Experience overseeing/leading implementations from start to finish Ability to be a hands-on, working Director Automation/AI experience Required 10 years in Human Resource Technology 5+ years in leadership roles owning enterprise HRIS platforms. Understanding of operations and vision for technology, including AI and its future use Expertise with Process Automation and scaling systems with HR Process Expertise with UKG and SmartRecruiters (Workday experience a plus) Expertise designing SOX‑aligned controls for HRIS data/reporting; familiarity with audit evidence and change management. Strong stakeholder management--ability to translate HR policy into technical configurations and scalable processes. Experience in multi‑brand retail/field operations environments and job code governance. Exposure to RPA/automation for HR processes and API‑level data mappings Vendor management across HR tech stacks; contract/SLA evaluation.
