We’re looking for a dependable, team-oriented Cook to join our dietary team! This position is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, appealing meals for our residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and established menus.

Schedule: Day shift (typically 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM or 6 AM-2:00PM) — full-time, includes every other weekend rotation and every other holiday

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary requirements

• Ensure food is properly stored, handled, and prepared safely

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food storage areas

• Work cooperatively with dietary aides and other team members

• Assist with inventory and supply ordering as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience preferred (healthcare or institutional setting a plus)

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

• Ability to follow recipes and serve meals on schedule

• Dependable, positive attitude, and enjoys serving older adults
