Trust Officer

About the Role A Trust Officer is responsible for providing new business for the company through marketing programs involving contact with professionals and direct contact with potential business sources. They provide exceptional service to existing trust clients and act as the quarterback on relationships pertinent to client subject matter requirements. The role requires performing a variety of written and verbal communication tasks and projects to ensure satisfactory completion and implementation of work or projects. The Trust Officer provides in‑house expertise on issues relating to trust administration, books new business and retains business through cross‑selling, calls on assigned branches regularly for branch education in trust products, participates in community activities that provide opportunities to form business relationships, administers accounts in a satisfactory manner including maintaining account files, and assists clients in achieving planned goals established at the opening of their account. The position generally administers moderately complex relationships, demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations, keeps up to date on regulation changes, follows all bank policies and procedures, completes required training, maintains a working knowledge of regulatory requirements, and may coach, mentor, or train others as a subject matter expert. #J-18808-Ljbffr
