About M. Peppers:
M. Peppers is an exciting neighborhood French restaurant located in the Highlands. Focusing on traditional French cookery with local ingredients and a concentration on French and American wine and classic cocktails that pair harmoniously together.

Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled Bartender to deliver exceptional guest experiences! As a bartender at M. Peppers, you will be responsible for crafting expertly made cocktails and discussing wine selections to enhance the dining experience. You will be a key player in creating an inviting atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and enjoy a premium beverage experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and engage guests with recommendations and personal interactions.

• Prepare a variety of beverages, including craft cocktails, espresso drinks, and wine pairings. Attend wine classes to understand wine varieties and pairings, particularly those that complement our French menu

• Operate the Toast POS system for accurate order processing and payments.

• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar area.

• Ensure compliance with Kentucky ABC alcohol-serving guidelines.

• Assist in inventory management and minimize product waste.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment.

• Collaborate with FOH & BOH teams for seamless service.

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards.

• Address issues with guests or colleagues in a timely and calm manner ensuring a positive experience for all involved.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bartending experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.

• Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, and wine pairings (French wine knowledge is a plus).

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality service.

• Compliance with alcohol service and food safety regulations (STAR certification preferred).

Physical Demands:

• Standing, walking, and moving for extended periods.

• Lifting up to 40 lbs unassisted.

• Working in a busy, dynamic restaurant environment with temperature variations.
