Materials Supervisor

Responsibilities for a Materials Supervisor include but are not limited to:

• Direct and coordinate daily activities for 38-40 direct reports within the materials department, including work schedules, assignments, and training matrices.

• Utilize SAP, Cassioli scanners, and related inventory control systems to monitor stock levels, manage replenishment, and ensure material flow for uninterrupted production.

• Partner with cross-functional teams including Planning, Engineering, Launch, and Production to resolve operational issues, maintain receiving documentation, and drive quality management initiatives.

• Assist in directing and coordinating daily activities within the Materials Department.

• Support team members by providing guidance on daily assignments, work schedules, and training requirements.

• Assist in planning work schedules, assignments, and production activities to meet operational goals.

• Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities to ensure uninterrupted production.

Candidates for Materials Supervisor must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment with strong leadership skills.

• Hands-on proficiency with SAP software and material tracking processes.

• Tier 1 background with an OEM and CPIM certification are preferred/nice to have.

• Shift: 1st and 2nd shifts available (OT required, possible 12-hour shifts)

Pay Details: $35.00 per hour
