  Position Summary

The Team Member Engagement Coordinator (TEC) independently administers, analyzes, assigned workforce engagement programs, communication practices, and Operations follow-up controls across the facility. The role evaluates engagement information, compares possible operational responses, develops management recommendations, and coordinates approved initiatives. 

The primary duty is nonmanual administrative work directly related to management and general business operations. This role is responsible for engagement analysis, program planning and execution, communication planning, process improvement, controls, and management recommendations. Routine distribution, recordkeeping, tracker maintenance, calendars, event logistics, and similar support are also key. 

Working under general direction, the Coordinator exercises discretion and independent judgment within approved objectives, policies, and functional boundaries. Within documented delegated limits, the Coordinator may select engagement methods, determine work sequencing and timing, modify nonmaterial project details, evaluate alternative responses, and recommend management action without step-by-step instruction. Operations retains final authority for material business decisions.

Requirements:

Engagement Analysis and Management Recommendations 

• Select appropriate methods, including floor presence and listening sessions, to collect and evaluate nonconfidential engagement information
• Plan and evaluate assigned recognition, appreciation, listening, and engagement initiatives within approved objectives
• Distinguish isolated requests from systemic trends and compare possible operational responses based on impact, urgency, feasibility, cost, and functional risk
• Analyze consistency of engagement routines across shifts and departments and recommend process improvements
• Independently recommend operational engagement actions while immediately routing individual employee matters to the appropriate functional owner

Communication Planning and Change Support 

• Develop engagement communication plans addressing audience, channel, sequencing, timing, approval needs, and measures of understanding
• Draft and coordinate approved communications and maintain essential workforce communication materials
• Assess communication gaps and recommend changes to improve reach, clarity, consistency, and leadership credibility
• Collect frequently asked questions, identify recurring themes, and coordinate validated responses from the appropriate functional owner

Operations Follow-Up Controls and Reporting 

• Administer and improve the Operations follow-up trackers confirming Supervisor and Manager review of required attendance and safety reports
• Monitor completion of leadership follow-up actions and escalate outstanding items
• Analyze recurring completion gaps, identify likely process causes, and recommend control or cadence improvements to Operations leadership
• Track completion only; does not calculate points or participate in corrective action 

Program Planning and Continuous Improvement 

• Translate approved site priorities into program objectives, project plans, milestones, success measures, stakeholder requirements, and evaluation methods
• Prepare management-ready analyses identifying material trends, risks, options, recommended actions, accountable owners, and open decisions
• Evaluate program results and recommend whether assigned initiatives should continue, be adjusted, expanded, or discontinued

Workforce Integration and Retention Analysis 

• Plan and coordinate the post-onboarding site-integration experience after HR/TA onboarding, including 30/60/90-day engagement check-ins and supervisor follow-through
• Analyze post-onboarding and retention themes and recommend improvements 
• Evaluate non-HR associate suggestions for feasibility and impact and recommend priorities and owners to Operations

Tactical Coordination and Administration 

• Coordinate teamwear distribution and other material logistics only when separately assigned and within the stated tactical-work limit
• Maintain accurate records for engagement activities and participation
• Assist with coordination of engagement calendars and events

Escalation and Governance

• Escalate employee relations concerns, complaints, and conduct issues immediately
• Route policy, payroll, benefits, leave, and accommodation questions to HR or appropriate functional owners
• Escalate safety concerns and workers’ compensation questions to EHS and Operations leadership
• Maintain adherence to defined role scope and escalation processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational leadership, communications, operations, human resources, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• One to three years of experience or equivalent project-based experience in operations programs, workforce engagement, communications, analytics, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical judgment, program-planning, process-improvement, and follow-up capabilities
• Ability to interpret information, compare alternatives, make reasoned recommendations, and manage routine tracking tools
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and escalate appropriately

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a 3PL, manufacturing, warehouse, or high-volume operations environment
• Experience supporting engagement activities or communication programs
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
• Bilingual communication skills, where applicable

Physical Requirements:

Work is performed in office and operational environments, including warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or similar settings.

• Must be able to travel between assigned locations as needed and maintain a visible, supportive presence across sites.
• May require flexibility to support multiple shifts and time-sensitive business needs.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
• Must be able to access and navigate departments, offices, production areas, warehouse areas, and other operational spaces at assigned facilities.
• Must follow all applicable safety requirements and wear required personal protective equipment when present in operational areas.
• Scope: Primarily supports one site or a defined operational population and may support limited cross-site initiatives as assigned.
• Reporting: Reports into Site Operations.
• Travel: Must be able to travel as needed.
