Who You Are:

The ideal Family Coach is compassionate, dependable, resourceful, and passionate about helping people and families succeed. We're looking for someone who is:

• Enjoy building authentic, trusting relationships.
• Have strong communication and active listening skills.
• Are comfortable supporting individuals and families through challenging situations.
• Understand the importance of family voice, choice, and empowerment.
• Have an interest in behavioral health, mental health, recovery, human services, or community-based support.
• Can connect people with community resources and navigate complex systems.
• Work well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Can balance independent work with collaboration and consultation.
• Respect diverse experiences, cultures, perspectives, and family structures.
• Are organized and able to maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Are committed to professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
• Experience working with families, behavioral health, community services, child welfare, education, healthcare, or other human services is valuable. Lived experience and a strong understanding of family-centered care are also valued.

Requirements

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, or specific certification (e.g., Certified Family Peer Specialist) is required.
• Lived experience navigating behavioral health or child welfare systems for their own children.
• Knowledge of the system of care for substance use and mental health treatment, as well as available resources in Merrimack County and surrounding areas preferred.
• Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance or access to a reasonable alternative is required.
