Starting as soon as possible and continuing through early June 2027, you'll play a pivotal part in helping children thrive academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid New Mexico teaching license, with NMPED credentials required
• Experience working with early elementary students (K-3 preferred)
• Strong background in special education, especially with social communication strategies
• Knowledgeable in developing and adapting IEPs to meet individual student needs
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with staff, students, and families
• Ability to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom climate

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage IEPs for students in a K-3 social communication classroom
• Deliver targeted instruction using evidence-based practices
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to promote growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with team members
• Partner with related service providers, administrators, and parents to maximize student success
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development
