Job Description
The Litigation Paralegal will provide vital support to a medium-sized legal team, assisting multiple attorneys in managing litigation cases and supervising support staff. This role mainly involves office-based work focused on thorough legal research, documentation, and case management, ensuring preparedness for trials and efficient handling of all related processes.
** Responsibilities **
- Conduct legal research to support case development
- Prepare and manage legal documents and filings
- Coordinate case management activities and maintain case files
- Communicate effectively with clients and legal team members
- Assist with trial preparation and provide trial support
- Handle the discovery process, including document review and organization
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and deadlines
- Organize and manage evidence for litigation
- Draft legal correspondence and court documents
- Supervise support staff
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in litigation support
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
- Proficiency in legal research and document management
- Experience with trial preparation and case management software
- Strong written communication and client interaction skills
- Attention to detail and excellent time management
- Critical thinking abilities to handle complex tasks
