About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified CVOR RN in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19107!

Registered Nurse – CVOR

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for cardiac surgical procedures including CABGs, aortic and mitral valve repairs and replacements, heart transplants, dissections, and LVAD placements
• Maintain a 1:2 staffing ratio throughout assigned shifts
• Float to other OR service lines such as General, Urology, or ENT as cardiac volume fluctuates, approximately once per week on average
• Fulfill on-call obligations of 5 call shifts per month, with varying days and hours
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid compact state license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of CVOR experience
• Demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate for cardiac surgery cases
• Experience with CABGs, aortic and mitral valve repairs and replacements, heart transplants, aortic dissections, and LVADs
• Pennsylvania fingerprinting (Childline) clearance required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with vascular and thoracic surgical procedures including EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR, and open AAA repair
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
