The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) and be proficient in providing care in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or rehabilitation hospital setting. Job Responsibilities\n \n Perform rehabilitation therapies in acute care settings. \n Independently conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies in radiology without supervision. \n Potentially provide referrals for outpatient care based on patient assessments. \n Required Skills and Experience\n \n Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in SNF or rehabilitation hospital settings. \n Ability to complete MBS studies independently. \n Licensure and Certifications\n \n Active Hawaii State license in the appropriate discipline is required prior to starting the assignment. \n Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. \n Equipment Utilized\n \n Meditech computerized documentation for inpatient records. \n Pencil and paper documentation for outpatient records. \n Work Schedule\n \n Generally a set schedule of 5 days per week, including one weekend day. \n Holiday coverage may be required. \n Additional Information\n \n Training in EMR documentation and orientation to rehabilitation area provided. \n Floating to other departments or facilities may occur based on staffing needs. \n Professional dress code includes scrubs or adherence to facility dress code policies. \n \n \n Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID 38046473.
