Volunteer Mentor for Foster Youth — 4 Hours/Month, 1 Year

Time Commitment: A few hours per month Commitment Details: Volunteers are expected to meet with mentee four hours per month for a minimum of one year. Recurrence: Recurring Volunteers Needed: 20 Cause Areas: Children & Youth, Community Development, Volunteering Training Provided Driver’s License, Background Check, Attend Orientation Other Requirements: Interview, Training Description The Community Connect Program connects DCYF youth in foster care ages 14 and older with community volunteers who act as mentors. The program helps youth to work on their personal goals, develop confidence, and gain a supportive adult connection. We want our youth in care to build meaningful adult connections, so we ask mentors for a year-long commitment of 4 hours per month. Location On-site Instructions Instructions: Training Provided.
